¶ Sulphuric Acid. A colorless, corrosive acid compound of sulphur. When diluted with water it produces yellow stains. Used full strength it produces light and dark browns on oak but light and dark greens on soft pine. On some pines it will produce beautiful grays when diluted. If you pass the heat from a blow torch over it while wet the resulting color is black.
