Round Wood Decorative Table

¶ Picture 13. The round table shown here embodies in its construction the same general features as the large square library table shown in Picture 16, only modified to such a degree that the effect is light rather than massive. The braces, top and bottom, are crossed and the four legs are wide and flat, with openings following the lines of the outside. The tenons, which have a bold projection and are fastened with wooden keys, are used as a distinctively decorative feature.
